Patient in clinic for immunization. Patient has syncopal episode after his final vaccine. Patient was diaphoretic, pale and was not able to respond immediately after receiving final vaccine. The nurse called for assistance and used an ammonia towelette. After just a few seconds the patient came to and began to speak and started to respond. At 11:05 BP was 60/40, The patient given wet paper towel, and a bottle of water, attempted to raise feet above head but patient refused. At 11:10 BP 98/59, P 70, R 24. After a few minutes we were able to prop his feet in a chair. A fan was placed beside the patient’s face. 11:15 BP 107/70, P 62, R 16 and 11:20 BP 99/69, P 65, R 16. SEE CONTINUATION. The patient remained in office x 20 minutes. At 11:25 BP was 106/71, P 64 and the patient’s color returned to normal, he was no longer diaphoretic.
